Job description


The functionality tester will be in charge of testing the client’s products (video games) on all kinds of platforms (consoles, online games, social networks) by executing test cases. The bugs found will have to be reported in a database and entered in the test suite.


Main responsibilities


·         Test the products by following the test suite;

·         Execute test cases;

·         Report bugs in the database;

·         Follow up on them


Requirements


·         At least one year of experience as a video game tester, a must

·         Written and spoken English skills

·         Experience with console and/or PC game testing

·         Communicates efficiently, works well in a team, demonstrates strong analytical skills

·         Detail oriented

·         Knowledge of bug tracking software such as Jira, Test Track Pro and/or Devtrack, a plus

WiMax Senior System Integration & Test Engineer - AAA

Clearwire seeks an entreprenurial and hands on engineer who will be responsible for the qualification testing and introduction of AAA software and hardware platforms into the Clearwire production network. Duties will include the support of lab qualification testing, field trials, and commercial deployment of a carrier class solution

Job Responsibilities:

Test responsibilities are to be focused on, but not limited to, testing and integration support for the AAA platform. This includes the interaction of the AAA with diverse RAN vendors as well as the billing/provisioning systems. Ensure alarming, application monitoring, and KPI reporting for the AAA platform.

Integration of new designs and solutions into the existing Clearwire network while transferring knowledge to internal operations partners.

The candidate will be responsible for test case design, managing cross-functional test plan reviews, test case execution, and analysis of results.

Document and track product defects encountered during the execution of test cases and determine root cause where applicable. Work with vendors to resolve issues identified.

Prepare test reports describing test cases executed, measured results, and comparison against established test criteria

Generate and execute First Office Application (FOA) implementation plans and procedures for the introduction of hardware and software releases into the Clearwire network.

Implement cost effective lab setups and test environments.

Leverage test scripting in order to automate test cases.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and identify root cause failure analysis for relevant systems in the production environment as related to new platform introductions.

Minimum Qualifiactions:

Flexible person with the ability to manage stressful situations and adapt to changing environments and requirements.

Expected to have a diverse background in testing a variety of platforms to include, but not limited to: AAA software, operating system testing, KPI monitoring, network tools running under Unix/Linux, and IP networks.

Min 5+ years industry experience including recent practical experience in a lab environment for the integration and test of network elements.

Understanding of Ethernet, wireless networks, RADIUS, DIAMETER, Simple IP, Mobile IP, VLANs, router and switch platforms, SNMP, Unix/Linux, and scripting languages such as Perl.

Previous work experience with network protocol monitors, troubleshooting at the packet level.

Previous experience with WiMAX preferred.

Ability to support changes to the production network in the maintenance window as required.
